Internet marketing metrics: what should be tracked

What should be mesured :

  • Conversions: a visitor is great, a client is better;
  • Spend: are you paying to much to have convertions?
  • Attention: visitors, return visits, page views, and time on site;
  • Bounce Rate: landing and leaving;
  • Errors: is everything working properly?
  • Onsite search terms: focusing on the right subject;
  • Bailout rates: where's the leaving door?
